Parking available for four (4) cars maximum for the duration of your stay. 
NO RVs, mobile homes, or construction vehicles are allowed on property. 

Please note, all vehicles need to be out of the driveway no later than 11am on check-out day otherwise any remaining vehicle will be towed at the guests' expense.

The deposit is a potentially refundable fee, based on honoring the House Rules, no missing items, and leaving no damage. It is always our hope that all goes smoothly and there’s nothing unexpected, so we can fully refund within 7 days of your check out. Thank you!<br />

The front door is opened with a custom code that is valid for the duration of the guests' reservation period; the home is "self check-in". Personal access code and instructions are provided 48 hrs before arrival as long as full payment of security deposit has been received.

Please note, there are security cameras which monitor the exterior of the home. 

There is a welcome manual in the dining area. In that manual, you'll find all the information you would possibly need regarding the house as well as the local area. We also include suggested restaurants and things to do. If you ever have an emergency and need to reach us, our personal cell phone numbers are in the manual.

Maximum number of guests allowed at all times is 10. Visitors or unregistered guests are strictly prohibited.  Violation of this house rule will result in eviction with no refund.

*Please note, the hot tub is available all year. However, during the cold/winter months, the outdoor grill and refrigerator are winterized and therefore are not available for use. Obviously, we also put away all outdoor furniture, hammocks, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards in the winter. Depending on the weather, these are usually put back and set back up by Memorial Day weekend (late May).

This home is best suited for quiet groups and/or families with older children (age 12+). There are several stairs inside and outside the property, some heights without railings, and a hot tub with a cover but no locking mechanism.

No, our place is NOT pet friendly. Due to health issues of two of our family members, we are exempt from the ADA and FHA requirements for providing accommodations for ESAs and/or service animals. If a guest brings any animals on property and/or into the house, their reservation will be cancelled immediately without refund.

Kane Cabin is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. No parties, loud gatherings, large groups or events are allowed. Only booked guests can be there at any time; maximum of 10 guests at all times. If unauthorized guests arrive and more than four cars are in the driveway, Guest will be contacted and told to leave the premises. Reservation will be cancelled immediately and there will be no refunds.  If necessary, local police will be dispatched to the property. 

NO smoking anywhere on the property. This includes cigarettes, vaping, marijuana and all other forms of smoking. If guest smokes anywhere on the property, there will be a $1,000 deep cleaning fee to restore the property to its previous condition.

There are many steps and several floors at this property. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible. 

Our TV is a Smart TV and we have Roku and Sling TV. 

Security cameras are set up throughout the exterior of the property (front door, garage, back deck). There are no interior security cameras.

My husband and I are experienced vacation rental hosts who share a love of traveling the world. We enjoy hosting our guests and making sure their stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
